PRAYER OF COMMITMENT

Lord, Jesus Christ,
Son of the Living God,
I thank you for calling me to follow you,
in the ways of love and service.
Help me to hear the Gospel;
help me to understand the
message of the cross.
Help me to respond with generosity.
Open my heart to your Holy Spirit ,
that my life may be transformed,
that I may live, no longer for myself,
but as a servant in your eternal kingdom
AMEN

PRAYER FOR CHRISTIAN UNITY

From the undivided waters of Baptism
we received the Life-giving Spirit.
May the power of these waters draw us ever more deeply into the Life of the Undivided Trinity.
We ask you Lord, to deepen our desire for unity in the Christian family, that we may witness to Your Love in our world.
